  • 1. Are HST + disbursements included?

    Our listed fees do not include disbursements (filing fees, courier, etc.) or HST. 


    You’ll always see a breakdown before proceeding.

  • 2. What if my case is simple vs complex?

    Simpler cases (tenant still in unit, clear arrears, clean documentation) tend to be toward the low end of the fee ranges. 


    If there are disputes, missing documents, or evictions / former tenants, more work is required — hence higher fee.

  • 3. Can I pay in installments or via retainer?

    Yes — we do offer the option to pay a small retainer upfront, then pay the balance before your first meeting or otherwise.


    We’ll discuss this during the free consultation. These terms are also confirmed in your retainer agreement, provided to you in writing.

  • 4. Do I get full service for the fee or do I need extras?

    The core services listed cover the essential legal work. 


    Additional fees only arise for extras like multiple units, urgent filings, appeals, or extraordinary enforcement.


    This will also be clearly outlined in your signed retainer agreement.
