    No, our listed fees do not include disbursements (filing fees, courier, etc.) or HST.


    You’ll always see a breakdown before proceeding.

  • 2. What if my case is simple vs complex?

    Cases that are straightforward — for example, where the tenant remains in the unit, rent payments and arrears are clearly documented, and all required materials are in order — tend to fall at the lower end of the fee range. 


    Matters involving disputes, incomplete documentation, former tenancies, or eviction proceedings generally require additional time and work, resulting in higher fees.

  • 3. Can I pay in installments or via retainer?

    Yes — we do offer the option to pay a small retainer upfront, then pay the balance before your first meeting or otherwise.


    We’ll discuss this during the free consultation. It will also be stated in your written retainer agreement.

  • 4. Do I get full service for the fee or do I need extras?

    The core services listed cover the essential legal work. 


    Additional fees only arise for extras like multiple units, urgent filings, appeals, or extraordinary enforcement.
