Role Overview
Cordaie Paralegal Services is seeking a licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario to assist with client representation and file management within authorized paralegal scope.
This role is ideal for a motivated paralegal who values autonomy, professional responsibility, and high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned files independently within authorized scope
- Prepare legal documents, applications, and correspondence
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Attend court or tribunal hearings when required
- Meet procedural deadlines and maintain organized files
- Collaborate with legal support staff and firm leadership
Required Qualifications
- Licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and have errors and omissions insurance
- Strong understanding of Ontario legal procedures
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage files responsibly in a remote environment
- Commitment to ethical and professional practice
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is an asset:
- Landlord and Tenant Board matters
- Small Claims Court
- Provincial Offences Act matters
- Family law services (FLSP scope)
- Criminal or quasi-criminal matters
